What distinguishes the VectorGraphics series?
- Vector images have a more "skeletal" graphic. Devoid of shadows and grayscale, they allow for the full utilization of a child's creative invention by giving them the freedom to fill in the outlines.
- Much "lighter" than their bitmap counterparts. Vector graphics are many times smaller than their bitmap equivalents, making them easier to download and store.
- A smaller file downloads faster, takes up less disk space, and does not require a desktop computer to work with the image. They use less ink/toner. Toner mostly covers only the outlines, which reduces its consumption.
- They are losslessly scalable. Vector images can be enlarged and reduced without loss of quality understood as the occurrence of image pixelation, without jagged edges, etc.
